2021/2022 was certainly an exciting year for Arts Impact!
Our artist-educators were so pleased to work in person in schools and community organizations. We brought learning to life through art as we focused our programming in a few key schools. Our three program areas – STEAM-focused residencies, social and emotional learning, and arts enrichment – are designed to impact the hearts, minds, and lives of the youth we serve.
We are delighted to work in our newly renovated space on Perkins Avenue. We invite you to take a tour and check it out! We have plenty of room for artists to collaborate, experiment, make prototypes, and prep materials. We recently hosted our first professional development opportunity and look forward to holding many more!
We also held a fabulous event to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We filled a huge space with student art, activities, food, and fun.
As we wrap up 2022 and begin 2023, we’re planning a pilot project that could revolutionize our work. We’ve spent the last year revising our assessment tools and processes; research will be an important component of this new project and if we’re successful, we hope to expand this project in the year ahead.
We’re tremendously grateful for support from our stakeholders. Thank you for your interest in Arts Impact!
