Arts Impact is pleased to announce it has been approved by the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) for a Grants for Arts Projects award of $25,000.
This grant will support the project Arts Integration Through Arts Impact, which pairs artist-educators with Cleveland Metropolitan School District classroom teachers for complex, multidisciplinary arts integration projects. The NEA will award 1,135 Grants for Arts Projects awards totaling more than $37 million as part of its second round of fiscal year 2024 grants.
“Projects like Arts Integration Through Arts Impact exemplify the creativity and care with which communities are telling their stories, creating connection, and responding to challenges and opportunities in their communities—all through the arts,” said NEA Chair Maria Rosario Jackson, PhD.
Rick Grahovac, Executive Director of Arts Impact, shared, “We are very grateful for NEA’s support. It allows us to expand our new delivery model in our partner schools. This intensive approach is positively impacting students’ academic achievement and school engagement, bringing learning to life through art.”
